We use information we collect to manage your online application, to manage your account and programs, to identify you, to communicate with you, to help us respond to your questions, and to improve our website and program offerings.

Summer Discovery will send personal information about you to other companies or people only when: 1) we have your consent to share the information; 2) we need to share your information to provide service you have requested; 3) we need to send the information to companies who work on behalf of Summer Discovery to provide a service to you (unless we tell you differently, these companies do not have any right to use the personally identifiable information we provide them beyond what is necessary to assist us in providing a product or service to you); and 4) we believe release is appropriate to comply with applicable law; enforce or apply other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Summer Discovery, our users, or others.
MAINTENANCE OF ACCURATE INFORMATION
In order to attain the most complete and accurate records, we consistently maintain customer information. If you have reason to believe that your information is incorrect, please contact us. We respond to requests to correct inaccurate information in a timely manner.
RETENTION OF DATA
We will keep your personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which personal information is collected as stated herein; for as long as is necessary for the performance of the contract between you and us, if any; and to comply with legal and statutory obligations, such as in tax, trade and corporate laws. When we no longer need your personal information for our purposes, we will destroy, delete or erase that personal information or convert it into an anonymous form.
SECURITY OF DATA
Information security is critical to our business. We will take reasonable steps to protect your personal information in our possession from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. We are committed to processing your data in a secure manner and have put in place specific technical and organizational measures to prevent the personal information we hold from being accidentally or deliberately compromised. Please be aware that these protection tools do not protect information that is not collected through our website, such as information provided to us by e-mail. We also conduct information risk assessments, we ensure that our staff understands the importance of protecting personal data, and we are responsibly managing access rights within the company.
STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS

Right to access

Right to request deletion
You may have the right to request that we delete personal information that we collected from you. Note, however, that certain requests to delete personal information may be denied if we are required to retain the information as a matter of law, the information is necessary for detecting security incidents, exercising free speech, protecting, or defending against legal claims, or for internal uses reasonably aligned with consumer expectations. Deletion of information is not feasible for individuals currently enrolled in Summer Discovery programs.
Payment Terms:
The $100 Application Fee must accompany the application for acceptance and is non-refundable, and not applicable to tuition. Upon notification of acceptance into the program, an online enrollment with applicable program deposit of $1,500, payable by credit card (for a 3.5% surcharge) or by electronic check (ACH/e-check drawn on a U.S. bank). The balance of the tuition, refundable fees, and fees is invoiced by email, and is due by April 1. Final tuition payment is payable by credit card (for a 3.5% surcharge), electronic check (e-check), or wire transfer. Credit card payment fees and any other bank charges incurred are the responsibility of the student/parent/guardian. Summer Discovery will credit only the actual payment in US dollars credited to Summer Discovery at its bank.

o The academic fee is $150, invoiced upon enrollment, and covers student course books, hands-on kits, art supplies, lab materials, classroom technology supplies, course-specific materials for student learning and engagement, and academic supplies. This fee does not include robotics kits.
· Summer Discovery Academic Fee:
o Certain Summer Discovery courses may require additional fees for academic supplies or other materials. Any additional fees will be outlined during the enrollment and/or course registration process but are subject to change prior to the date of enrollment.
